Kalayaan College is proud of its library. Though limited in physical space our Library houses a collection of more than 16,000 books and journals, including publications of recent dates and donations from the personal libraries of Dr. Jose V. Abueva, Dr. Gonzalo M. Jurado, Dr. Virginia S. Cariño and other members of the faculty.
The KC library houses a collection of business, entrepreneurship and economics, public administration and governance, computer science, psychology, journalism, history, general reference, education and language teaching, literature and arts books. The library also houses a videotape and serial collection which includes scholarly journals, pamphlets, magazines, newspapers, and conference proceedings.
Book collections are classified into three general sections: reserve, circulation and reference. The serials collection includes current and retrospective titles. The non-print collection of the library includes cassette tapes, CD-ROMS, DVDs and digital files.
"The only thing that you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library."
"Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our quality of life."
